Hamilton Police Update for March 30, 2015 — Mar. 30
On Saturday March 28, 2015 at approximately 8:05am Hamilton Police Service received reports from a citizen that a male had just smashed a vehicle window in the area of Upper Wellington and Limeridge Road East and ran off upon being seen and pursued. Responded officers close by located the male with cuts to his hands and broken glass shards on his clothing and shoes.
Hamilton Police investigating 2nd Homicide of 2015 — Mar. 27
On Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at approximately 6:20pm the Hamilton Fire Department was called to 561 Kenilworth Ave. N. Hamilton for a house fire. Upon extinguishing the fire, firefighters commenced a search of the home and located a victim inside an upstairs bedroom. The victim was later identified as 26-year-old Renee Neganiwina.. Neganiwina was transported to the Hamilton General Hospital but she succumbed to her injuries.

On Monday March 30, 2015 at members of the Hamilton Police Service Traffic Branch will be launching a targeted enforcement and education strategy designed to improve road safety for everyone in and around schools and school zones throughout the city of Hamilton.
Bank Robbery at Fennell and Upper Gage — Mar. 25
At approximately 10:40 AM on Tuesday March 24, 2015 a robbery occurred at the CIBC located at 997 Fennell Avenue East within the City of Hamilton.
