Hamilton Police Seek Assistance With Multiple Street Robberies

Hamilton Police are investigating three street robberies that occurred in the west end of Hamilton area.

On Sunday July 18^th, 2010 between 12:30am and 2:20am, a total of five victims in three separate incidents were robbed while walking home on the streets. In each of the incidents, university aged students were targeted on isolated residential streets. The victims were approached by a group of males that used pepper spray to gain an advantage over the victims during to the robbery.

Hamilton Police want to inform the public that these acts so far have been isolated to the west end of Hamilton and have focused on the weekend time lines. All members of the community should be vigilant in matters of personal safety while walking after dark.
