RE: MPU Visibility Downtown
Hi There:
I wanted to comment about how much I love seeing the HPS Mounted Patrol out and about in downtown Hamilton. I have watched adults and children interact with the mounted officers like I haven’t seen them interact before with patrols on foot. What a nice experience. It seems like such a great community relations tool in addition to their capacity for crowd control and improved lines of sight for your officers.
I live and work in downtown Hamilton and wanted to let you know that I would love to see this initiative carried on past the initial 3-year period.
