It is alleged that on August 11, 2008, HAWLA was involved in a verbal argument with the complainant when he threw a glass vase full of water at her striking and shattered on her leg. It is then alleged that after the complainant fled the house and drove off in her car, that HAWLA, following in his vehicle, pulled in front of the complainant and abruptly slammed on his brakes almost resulting in a collision between the two vehicles. The complainant was able to swerve to avoid the collision and make good her escape in order to contact police.
