What is NOT an Emergency?
It is not an emergency when the situation is not dangerous and immediate action is not necessary. Examples include:
- fraud reports,
- mischief to property,
- theft reports and
- noise complaints.
Do not call 9-1-1 for:
- Information (road conditions, directions, etc)
- Telephone numbers
- Advice (landlord tenant, by-laws, etc)
