There have been three night time break-ins to homes in downown Stoney Creek area the last couple nights..............The unidentified suspect(s) have entered through unlocked doors or windows and are looking for purses or wallets. The occupants have been home and sleeping each time.

The break-in on 2nd St, the home owner heard a noise at 3 a.m. and looked out her bedroom window to see u/k persons running towards 1st St.

The break-in on Donn Av, occupant of the home heard noises in the house at 3:55 a.m., police were called, area checked negative.

The break-in on Galbraith occurred during the day, two youths were scared off and fled into the ravine to Green Acres Park.

Homeowners in the downtown Stoney Creek area are reminded to check that all doors and windows are closed and locked during the night.
