About Us
Division Two provides policing services from Sherman Avenue on the west to the east border of Stoney Creek, and north from the mountain brow to Lake Ontario.

The station houses the Use of Force Training Centre for Hamilton Police Service and its Colin Millar Community Room is widely used by area non-profit community groups.

 

Uniform Patrol

Division Two Uniform Patrol deploys personnel on four squads to staff four sectors to serve the community in both proactive and reactive methods.

 

Criminal Investigations

The Criminal Investigation Branch provides investigative support to Uniform Patrol and responds to the investigative needs of the community through intelligence-led investigative strategies.

Divisional Response Branch

 

HEAT Unit

Division 20 HEAT unit, High Enforcement Action Team, is a specialized plain clothes unit that monitors and identifies problems within the East end. The Unit addresses all areas involving Break and Enters, Drug Possession, Sex Trade Workers and Property Related Crimes including Stolen Autos. The HEAT unit and its officers have proven to be a great success with positive results.
