Yes, I do see an improvement and it is good to see the presence of “bicycle police”. I am 78 and have been attending the Y Fitness Centre and Pool for some 35 years. I park at the City Hall parking lot and in recent years have been approached many times by people asking for money – they have run behind me, scaring me, approached my car, accosted me at the parking meter, banged on my car hood to get attention and I have been spat upon. However, I am pleased to say that in recent months I have not once had anyone approach me although I am of course very alert to my surroundings leaving and getting back to my car especially if it is dark.
